Frequently asked questions
Answers about our installations, crew, quotes and partnerships.
Do you partner with agencies and integrators?
Yes. Advertising agencies from several countries have been our long-term clients. We're their deployment and integration partner in Ontario, their boots on the ground, working under their brand if needed.
Do you have your own crew, or do you use subcontractors?
We have our own established, trained crew. The owner works on site and handles complex and custom solutions, including metal fabrication when needed.
Do you install video walls and LED displays at height?
Yes. Our crews are Working at Heights and MEWP certified and regularly install on scissor and boom lifts in showrooms, malls and high-bay spaces.
Is an LED display a type of video wall?
Yes, but it is built very differently. A standard video wall is made of separate screens, for example a 3×4 grid of 12 commercial displays, with thin edges between them. An LED display is built from small modules that join with no visible edges, so the image is one seamless surface, and it can be almost any size or shape, including curves and columns.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $2M liability insurance and are covered by WSIB.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. Every installation comes with a full 3-year workmanship warranty.
Can you store our hardware before installation?
Yes. Your equipment is stored securely and insured in our warehouse, and the first month is free.
Do you work after hours?
Yes. We plan around your business hours and site rules so the work disrupts as little as possible.
What do you need from us for a quote?
The screen model, a description of the project, the location, photos of the area and any other details you have.
Can you quote without a site visit?
Yes, for straightforward jobs, with photos and details. Complex jobs need a site visit first so the quote is accurate.
Do you supply the screens?
No. We supply all mounts, cables and installation hardware; the screens come from you or your vendor. You can have them shipped to our warehouse ahead of the install.
Can you remove and dispose of old displays?
Yes. We take down old screens and mounts and drop them off at a certified e-waste recycling depot.
What if there are no studs where the display needs to go?
We assess the structure, weight and available anchor points first, then choose a mounting method that's safe for that wall or ceiling.
Can you run wires inside walls?
Yes. If there's a major obstacle in the way, we'll suggest the cleanest alternative route.
Can you do electrical work too?
Yes. For anything that needs a licensed electrician, we bring in the electrician we've worked with for over 10 years.
Do you protect the work area, such as a restaurant kitchen?
Always. We've installed above kitchens in dozens of restaurants, mostly in downtown Toronto. We fully cover the area and clean up after the job.
How long have you been in business?
The founder started installing in 2008, and TV Experts was registered in 2012. We've since moved our focus entirely to commercial work.
How do I choose the right installer?
Look at the real work. A polished website or a busy Instagram doesn't prove skill. Ask for photos of completed jobs, check that the installer is certified and insured, and see how they handle the details. We put our time into the work itself, especially complex custom jobs most installers won't take on.
Which areas do you serve?
We're based in Richmond Hill and serve Toronto and the entire GTA, including Vaughan, Markham, Aurora, Newmarket and King, plus the rest of Ontario for larger projects and multi-site rollouts. See all service areas →
